Are you using email marketing?  With the uprise of social media many companies embraced these new communications channels, but put aside email marketing.  Don’t forget about email marketing – people might miss your tweet or update on Facebook, Linkedin or any other social media channel, but they will always check their emails.  All of our clients use email marketing, and continuously report back on their return on investment, generated leads, new business partners and other useful connections.

Saleforce published a blog post with some very useful statistics about email marketing, and I’d like to share it with you. I hope you find them useful as much as I did:

Email marketing is one of the most effective tactics for driving sales. According to a study by ExactTarget, 77% of consumers prefer to receive permission-based marketing communications through email.
